ISET is now accepting online applications for admission to the Bachelor's Degree Program in Economics in the 2017-2018 academic year.
For International students the deadline for applications for admission in the 2017-2018 academic year is: May 20, 2017

Admission Process

ISET accepts both local and international students; however, the application process for these two groups is a bit different. Applicants with Georgian citizenship are considered local students.


ISET offers a 4 year bachelor program in Economics and Finance. Students earn 240 European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) credits. The ECTS credit system facilitates recognition of the degree internationally.

Tuition & Financial Aid

Tuition as well as financial aid is different for local and international students. Tuition fees for local students are determined according to Georgia's law on Higher Education.

Student Handbook

The new Student Handbook will be published by the beginning of 2017/2018 academic year. It summarizes professional opportunities, academic policies and procedures, including scheduling of classes, recitations and office hours, administration of tests, grading policy, etc.

About BA Program

Objective of the program is to prepare students for successful academic and professional career in economics, both in Georgia and internationally. To achieve this goal program is based on international best practices of teaching and learning in the field of economics. It offers effective combination of developing theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
Program is oriented on forming a personality that has skills of independent and efficient decision-making, learning and usage of knowledge in changing circumstances. Graduate will be equipped with transferable competences such as: critical/analytical thinking, quantitative reasoning, academic work, effective communication on English language and using modern technologies.
