A graduate of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Eric has been living in Georgia since 2007. In addition to his work at ISET, Eric consults the Georgian government, international organizations and business associations on issues of international competitiveness, industrial policy, regulatory impact assessment, deregulation, education and labor market reforms, agriculture and rural development policies. He also chairs the Economic Commission of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC-Georgia) and serves as Advisor to Georgia’s Minister of Economic and Sustainable Development Dimitri Kumsishvili. Eric frequently moderates public policy debates, and publishes his views on policy through the ISET Economist Blog and columns with Georgia Today and Forbes.
