Scholarship Fund in Memory of Mzia Mikeladze
In honor of her many contributions as a leader and mentor to countless students, alumni and colleagues, ISET is establishing a scholarship fund in memory of Mzia Mikeladze (1961-2012).
Mzia Mikeladze served as Deputy Director of ISET since the school’s inception in 2006. She was greatly admired and respected for her outstanding abilities as an executive, and for her exceptional character and leadership. Her work on building ISET as an institution had a profound impact. She had a remarkable talent to bring about the very best in the people she worked with. With her love, enthusiasm, her commitment to excellence in the service of others and her ability to communicate and engage with people on a very personal level, she encouraged, strengthened and inspired those around her.
The Mzia Mikeladze scholarship fund is established to encourage students to follow in her footsteps by preserving and perpetuating the spirit of public service, civic community building, and working for the common good. The scholarship will be awarded to selected students after their first year of study, in recognition of their leadership and character qualities which contribute to the life of ISET and the community at large.
