ISET Joins the CSR Stakeholder Forum

ISET had joined the CSR Stakeholder Forum, which was established with the support of the European Union and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, at the initiative of the Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia (CSRDG). The latest memorandum aims to establish a political and institutional environment that supports corporate social responsibility and sustainability, raise awareness of the concepts, and implement international standards for CSR and responsible business conduct in Georgia. ISET BA Students are Winners of IMF Fun Challenge 2022

ISET students have won the latest "Fund Challenge" from the International Monetary Fund (IMF). This competition is held globally, and students from Economics Bachelor's programs across MCD-based universities in 32 countries took part. This year's winners are Nino Maghradze and Elene Kachkachishvili, both students from ISET's Bachelor's program in Economics. For ISET, success in the "Fund Challenge" has become a kind of tradition, as our students have now won this competition four years in a row. ISET faculty’s Yet Another International Publication

A new paper written by Associate Professors Karine Torosyan and Norberto Pignatti has just been published in the Journal of Happiness Studies. The paper, titled Employment Versus Home-Stay and the Happiness of Women in the South Caucasus, explores the happiness gap between housewives and working women in the South-Caucasus, assessing the potential role of cultural and ethnic effects as opposed to that of institutional factors. The paper findings suggest that observed differences across the three South-Caucasus countries might be due more to differences in institutional factors than to cultural and ethnic differences. KHIDI Project - Students from ISET Visit Pankisi

ISET students have been training young people from Pankisi in English and mathematics for the last four years. This year, about 50 ISET students expressed their desire to participate in the project. On 8 October, these volunteer teachers from ISET visited students from Pankisi. This meeting turned out to be emotional and extremely pleasant. At the event, the various pairs were identified who will work together to improve skills and knowledge in the two core subjects.
