Danijela Vuletic

Invited Lecturer

Danijela Vuletić Čugalj is a PhD candidate and Junior Researcher at CERGE-EI (Center for Economic Research and Graduate Education – Economics Institute) in Prague the Czech Republic. Her main research interest lies in behavioural and experimental economics, mainly in understanding the influence of different types of incentives on pro-social behaviour. Her current research focuses on incentives which aim to trigger blood donors’ altruistic motives on their willingness to donate blood. Further, she is interested in the underlying psychological and biological mechanisms through which incentives influence human behaviour. In addition, she is  exploring gender differences in blood donation preferences. Through my research, she aims to better understand the channels through which effective policy interventions and optimal choices of incentives can help in recruiting new and maintaining existing blood donors.
