Davit Keshelava

Davit Keshelava received his Ph.D. in Economics from the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) in 2021 (Ph.D. thesis: “Macroeconomic Drivers of Currency Crises and Ways to Prevent Them in Georgia”). Davit earned his Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) in 2014 and Master Degree in Economics from International School of Economics (ISET) at TSU in 2016.

Since 2016, Davit works at the Macroeconomic Policy Research Center (MPRC) of the ISET Policy Institute as a senior researcher, being involved in a various economic project focused on Macroeconomics, Social Policy, Gender Economics, Cost-Benefit Analysis, Regulatory Impact Assessment (RIA), Gender Impact Assessment (GIA), and Program Evaluation (he is an author/co-author of numerous reports, policy briefs, policy notes and research papers). In addition, he is responsible for producing Monthly Reports of the GDP Forecast, and writing blogs on economic topics. Since 2016, Davit teaches various courses (as an invited lecturer) in Bachelor Programs of International School of Economics (ISET) at TSU and University of Georgia, and Master Program of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU).
