Emma Pratt holds a BA in Political Science and Russian Area Studies from Wellesley College and an MA in Slavic and East European Studies from the Ohio State University. She is interested both in regional languages and in the political transition from communism to democracy. She came to Georgia as part of the Teach and Learn with Georgia program in 2012, and has been an English teacher in Georgia since that time. She also teaches at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
