Open House Days at ISET

The International School of Economics is happy to announce open house days for our prospective students of Master’s and Bachelor’s degree programs in Economics. Open house guests will have an opportunity to get full information about ISET and its programs, get answers to all questions and meet our faculty, students, and alumni. The meeting for Bachelor’s program will be held at the ISET building, on May 4, at 17:00. The Open House Day for Master’s program will be held online, in ZOOM platform, on May 11, at 18:00.

We’re delighted to highlight two of Muhammad Asali upcoming economics papers. Professor Asali has once again proven his international credibility and emphaized the significance of his research in the field. The first piece, Labor Market Flexibility and Exchange Rate Regimes, co-authored with Kuokstis and Spurga, is soon to be published in the European Journal of Political Economy. The work offers the first evidence about the causal relationship between labor market flexibility and the choice of exchange rate regimes. Zurab Abramishvili, Head of the Undergraduate Studies at ISET, was selected as a finalist within the University Administration Support Program (UASP) Research Management Fellowship, funded by the Carnegie Corporation of New York and administered by IREX. Within the framework of the fellowship Zurab spent five weeks at Indiana University in Bloomington.
